Bjelovar - the town museum

Cultural-Educational Roma Center

The permanent exhibition entitled "The origin, life and customs of the Roma" has been installed under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture.

Daruvar - the town museum

  • Other: it holds the account of the cultural-historical heritage of the town from the times of II. and I. Centuries B.C. until today, the museum is currently being redecorated and it is not open to public.

The open gallery of wooden sculptures Light Stripes

The open gallery of wooden sculptures LIGHT STRIPES, was founded in 2002 by the contract between the Croatian Forests, the Bjelovar-Bilogora County and the Art Academy from Zagreb. The sculptures have been placed in the area of the Bjelovar Forestry forests on Bilogora, and they have also been individually placed in the settlements of Bjelovar, Veliko Trojstvo and Veliki Grđevac.

Friends of Nature Trail

An educational trail on which you are introduced to the plant and animal life in the forest through the story of 140-year-old oak tree. By going over the 2,5 km long trail, the walker meets nature in an instructional manner. It is situated on the Veliki Grđevac - Grubišno Polje road, next to the Lovrak centre/in preparation.

The Lovrak centre / in preparation

The exhibition area of the composition museum train and the mill which represent the symbols of the best known Mato Lovrak novels, "The Snowed-in Train", and "The Company of Pero Kvržica". The centre is situated on the Veliki Grđevac - Grubišno Polje road, next to the sports fish-pond of the sports fishing society Grđevica.
