About us

The craft LOTADA has been in business since 1996 as the family company whose co-owners are Adela and Oto Lneniček, graduated agronomists of fruit-growing-vine-wine orientation. The vineyards and the cellar are located in the renown Daruvar wine-producing area, where the noble vines were first planted by the Romans. The vineyards are located at the height above the sea level of approximately 230 meters and they are ideally orientated for growing quality and superior grapes, especially "Graševina" (Riesling) of the specific tone, which was the primary reason why the wine manufactured from that variety has until recently been, on the market of the entire Croatia and further, well-known and famous under the name of "Daruvar Riesling". Together with "Graševina" the variety Chardonnay has been planted, as well as the young plantations of fragrant Traminac and black pinot.

In equipping and decorating their interior as well as exterior property, they cherish the cultural and natural tradition of the Daruvar area. The wine cellar which has the capacity of 100.000 litres is equipped with the modern equipment for refining, storing and bottling of wine. For that reason they achieve high quality of produced wine, which is proven by the fact their wines have been awarded gold plaques on different wine exhibitions. They have developed a good cooperation with the well-known medical-spa institution the "Daruvar Spa" and the other companies, so to their as well as to their own guests they offer wine samplings and organize group tours to the wine-sampling facilities accompanied with the expert commentary of oenologists. In LOTADA you can buy wine: the bottles packed in different gift packages - with the appropriate greetings or labels made on order - a litre and five-litre bottles of Graševina - non-bottled wine. They also offer production of labels with the logo of the customer, intended for special occasions such as weddings, anniversaries, etc.
